Duration: 8 + month(s) with possibility of extension
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (40 hours/week)
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager III with a strong background in IT project management, particularly in infrastructure and new facility implementations. The ideal candidate is PMP certified, highly organized, and experienced in managing large-scale, complex projects using formal project management methodologies.
The Project Manager III is a senior-level role responsible for leading moderate to high-complexity projects, acting as a mentor, and driving strategic initiatives aligned with the PMO's goals.

Job Summary:

The Project Manager III is a senior-level role responsible for leading moderate to high-complexity projects, acting as a mentor, and driving strategic initiatives aligned with the PMO's goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create, coordinate, and manage complex IT infrastructure and facilities-related projects.
- Manage large, organization-wide implementations or system upgrades.
- Lead and coordinate 8–15 cross-functional project team members.
- Serve as a mentor for junior Project Managers (PM I & II).
- Champion project management methodology and best practices within the PMO.
- Develop detailed project documentation including project charters, schedules, status reports, and risk logs.
- Communicate effectively with project staff, stakeholders, and executive sponsors.
- Present project updates to IS leadership and hospital executives.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment with business goals and IT operations.
Required Education & Certification:
- Bachelor’s degree (required)
- Master’s degree (preferred)

Active PMP certification (required)
- Must be certified through the Project Management Institute (PMI)
Preferred Background:
- IT operations experience
- Previous experience with healthcare or hospital systems is a plus
- Familiarity with project management tools and reporting dashboards
Required Skills & Experience:
- 8+ years of IT project management experience, with increasing responsibility
- Proven ability to manage complex infrastructure or facilities-related projects
- Strong documentation skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Effective consensus-building and stakeholder management
- Ability to coach and mentor other project managers
- Skilled in presenting project status and recommendations to senior leadership
- Trusted business partner with the ability to navigate cross-functional environments

- Level: 2A
- Remote: Yes, but must be within 2 hours of Philadelphia
- Onsite Requirement: Occasionally, as needed
