Job Title: Surgical Tech 2
Location: Menomonee Falls, WI 53051
Duration: 04/13/2026 – 07/10/2026
Shift: 0630-1500, 0630-1700 depending on shift length
Schedule: 5 days/week, 8 hours/day, 40 hours/week, No weekends, No on-call, No float
Work Setting: Ambulatory Surgery Center
Requirements
Required Skills & Experience:
- Two (2) years of full-time equivalent experience as a Surgical Technologist
- Experience in Orthopedics, Total Joints, Arthroscopy, Podiatry, Plastics
- Decision-making skills
- Patient care
- Collaboration
Education:
- High School/GED and one of the following:
- Completion of a Surgical Technologist Program
- Completion of a Military Training Program as an Operating Room Specialist
- Completion of a Froedtert Health sponsored Apprentice II Program
- Ten or more years of experience as a Surgical Tech
Certifications & Licensure:
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for the Healthcare Provider or equivalent
Job Summary
- Collaborates with the surgical team to provide patient care, ensuring patient goals are met and hospital mission is upheld
- Performs procedures in a variety of specialties requiring knowledge and skills
- Demonstrates higher-level collaboration with peers in decision-making related to surgical patient care
- Performs other duties as assigned
