Phlebotomist III - Floater
Location: Saint Peters, MO
Duration: 2 Months+ (Possibilities of Extension)
Shift/Time Zone: Mon - Fri Shift may vary from 6:00Am to 6:00PM
Role Overview:
The PSR III serves as the company’s face to patients, providing high-quality blood specimen collection and processing while ensuring patient comfort, trust, and confidence. This role requires excellent phlebotomy skills, professionalism, and flexibility to work across multiple locations as needed.
Key Responsibilities:

Draw quality blood specimens from patients using safe, skillful techniques.

Explain procedures clearly to patients, creating a trusting and comfortable atmosphere.

Accurately prepare specimens for laboratory testing, maintaining strict adherence to protocols.

Verify patient demographic information and ensure correct labeling of specimens.

Maintain accurate records and documentation.

Perform both forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing.

Demonstrate leadership behaviors and promote a positive company image.

Work under minimal supervision, manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Travel between sites (doctor’s offices, patient service centers) as assigned.

Comply with all company policies including dress code, safety, and confidentiality.
Job Requirements:

Minimum 3 years phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.

Minimum 2 years experience in a Patient Service Center preferred.

Excellent phlebotomy skills and certification preferred (required in CA, NV, WA).

Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.

Flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime availability.

Reliable transportation with valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Strong customer service and communication skills.

Able to work multiple locations with minimal notice.

Keyboard and data entry skills.

Commitment to company policies and procedures.

Able to handle multiple priorities and work in a high-volume setting.

Ability to verify commute times; must be within 20-25 minutes of worksite.

Must be punctual and maintain attendance standards to avoid termination.
Education & Training:
-
High school diploma or equivalent.
-
Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
-
Phlebotomy certification preferred/required (depending on state).

Candidates must list home city and commute time on resume.

Rate is based on years of direct experience only (no overlapping roles).

Floaters can submit mileage for reimbursement.
-
Reliable transportation (personal vehicle preferred) is essential; rideshares/public transport not accepted.
