Job Summary:
The PSR serves as the first point of contact for patients, performing venipuncture and clinical specimen collection while providing exceptional patient care. The role requires creating a safe and professional environment, accurately handling specimens, verifying patient information, and maintaining detailed records. PSRs may work in physician offices, patient service centers, or multiple locations as needed.

Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:
- Draw quality blood samples from patients, including pediatric and geriatric patients, following established protocols.
- Verify patient demographics and tube labeling post-venipuncture.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with company procedures.
- Uphold a professional and patient-focused environment.
- Perform both clinical and forensic specimen collection with confidence.
- Work independently and manage multiple priorities in a high-volume setting.
- Adhere to company policies, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Travel to multiple locations as needed, with reliable transportation.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2–3 years phlebotomy experience required.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- Superior customer service and communication skills.
- Flexible and available for variable schedules, including multiple locations.
- Must have reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and clean driving record.
Credentialing / Compliance Requirements:
- Drug Screen (NON-DOT)
- Vaccination review: MMR, Varicella, Hep B, TDAP, Flu (as applicable)
- TB Quantiferon test (within 30 days)
- Color vision test
- Meningococcal vaccine (microbiology staff only)
- OSHA Respirator Questionnaire review and qualitative fit test for up to 2 masks
Additional Notes:
- Training location may vary based on trainer availability.
- Excessive absenteeism or tardiness is not tolerated.
