Phlebotomist I
Position: Patient Services Representative I (PSR I)
Location: Sunrise, FL
Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
Saturday Rotation: AGUU site in Plantation, 6:30 AM–11:00 AM
Duration: 3+ months
Job Summary:
The PSR I is the face of the company, responsible for collecting quality blood specimens and preparing them for lab testing. This role requires professionalism, accuracy, and excellent phlebotomy skills while providing top-tier patient care.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform blood draws and specimen processing per protocol

Maintain a safe, professional environment

Deliver excellent customer service

Accurately document and handle patient information

Follow all safety, compliance, and confidentiality procedures
-
Work under limited supervision and complete tasks on time
Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent (required)
-
Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in CA, NV, WA)

Medical assistant or paramedic training (preferred)
-
6+ months of phlebotomy experience (required), 1+ year preferred

Strong phlebotomy skills (pediatric and geriatric)

Data entry and computer proficiency

Customer service experience (preferred)
Additional Details:

Must have reliable transportation (no bus/Uber/rideshare)

Must live within 20–25 minutes of Sunrise, FL
-
Must be punctual and dependable—excessive tardiness/absences will lead to termination
