Cardiopulmonary Tech Assistant

• Job Title: Cardiopulmonary Tech Assistant
• Location: Salinas, CA
• Shift: Day Shift: 8X5 (40 hours weekl)
• Position Type:13 week contract
• Pay: $25/hr

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical and clerical support to the Cardiopulmonary Department.
• Assist in preparing patients for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Perform basic respiratory care duties under direction, such as setting up equipment and monitoring patient comfort.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure timely data entry.
• Schedule patient appointments and coordinate workflow to maintain operational efficiency.
• Uphold infection control and safety standards in all tasks.
• Demonstrate knowledge and skills appropriate for the age-specific population served.

Qualifications:

• Medical Assistant Certificate
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in cardiopulmonary or related clinical setting preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Experience: One (1) to two (2) years of recent clerical/scheduling experience is preferred. Medical terminology is strongly preferred
• Epic Experience Required: Minimum of 6–12 months within the past year
