Job Title: Molding Operator
Location: Mebane, NC 27302
Duration: 12 Months (Contract)
Shift: 1st Shift | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Role Overview:
The Molding Operator is responsible for operating production machines to manufacture quality products. This includes monitoring machine settings, performing in-process testing, assisting with setups and changeovers, and ensuring safety and compliance with all operating procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Read and interpret job specifications from the Production Record
Operate and monitor machinery, making adjustments as needed
Perform in-process quality checks and maintain accurate documentation
Assist Set-Up personnel with machine setups, cleanouts, and changeovers
Notify Lead Operator of any equipment or product quality issues
Spread product and support production as required
Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures
Participate in cleanup and general production tasks as needed
Qualifications & Skills:
Education:
High school diploma or GED (required)
Skills:
Basic reading, writing, and math skills
Ability to understand and follow safety and work instructions
Clear communication skills for small group and one-on-one interactions
Reliable, motivated, cooperative, and willing to learn
Respectful of people and property; maintains confidentiality
Experience:
No prior experience required
Experience in manufacturing or production or operations, or a lab environment; mechanical aptitude for machine setup and troubleshooting
Nice to have:
machines operation, machine trouble shooting
machine settings, equipment set-ups, process measurements.
