Requires candidate with previous Healthcare Insurance experience. Must have good understanding of Claims processing, provider, Billing and Benefit Configuration processes

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst to lead requirements gathering and support complex IT initiatives within the healthcare insurance domain. This role involves working closely with business and technical teams to deliver efficient system solutions.

Responsibilities

• Work with business stakeholders to gather and define requirements
• Translate business needs into technical solutions and documentation (BRDs, FRDs, etc.)
• Lead requirements analysis ensuring completeness, clarity, and traceability
• Define business rules, system interfaces, and non-functional requirements
• Assess impact of changes and communicate risks to stakeholders
• Collaborate with development, QA, and business teams for testing and implementation
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce costs, and increase efficiency
• Manage multiple projects and priorities effectively
• Provide guidance and support to other analysts

Required Qualifications

Education

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
  (or equivalent experience: 1 year experience = 1 year education)
• Masters degree preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in IT and systems analysis
• Experience leading requirements development efforts
• Healthcare insurance experience preferred
• Strong understanding of:
  • IT concepts
  • Application development methodologies
  • System analysis and design

Skills / Certifications

• CBAP or CCBA certification preferred
