Interventional Radiology Technologist – Travel
Location: Dallas, TX
Assignment Length: 13 weeks
Position Type: Travel (Temp Only)
Interview: Virtual – 1 round

Schedule:

• 4x10s | Monday–Friday

• 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM

• Rotating day off

• On-call required (rotating)

• Weekend/float required

Important Note:

• 50-mile radius waived for this position only

• Must be able to report and be ready for a case within 30 minutes of call (including drive, parking, and walking time)

• BLS (AHA only)

• MRT & ARRT certifications

• Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology / Cath Lab experience

• Experience with Body (Trauma) and Neuro (Stroke) cases required

• Epic experience preferred

• Level I Trauma Center experience preferred

• VI experience preferred

Under the supervision of a Radiologist, the Interventional Radiology Technologist performs high-quality IR procedures on ambulatory and hospitalized patients, following established protocols, safety standards, and sterile techniques.

• Perform IR procedures accurately and efficiently per protocol

• Prepare and position patients; explain procedures and ensure comfort

• Maintain sterile technique and adhere to radiation and infection control policies

• Document patient history, consent, and imaging records accurately

• Maintain equipment functionality and cleanliness

• Participate in on-call rotation and emergency response as required

• Strong procedural and technical competency in IR

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Calm, professional demeanor in high-pressure environments

• Excellent patient communication and customer service skills

• Ability to precept and support new team members
