Job Title: Surgical Technologist
Location: Houston - TX
Duration: 3 Months+
Shift/Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 am – 5 pm (40hr/week)
Key Responsibilities:
3–5 years of pediatric surgical experience
Location: Houston - TX
Duration: 3 Months+
Shift/Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 am – 5 pm (40hr/week)
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare OR based on surgical procedure and patient age.
- Anticipate surgeon needs and manage supplies efficiently.
- Maintain accurate sponge, needle, and instrument counts.
- Handle and label specimens properly.
- Set up surgical instruments, back table, and supplies.
- Ensure proper scrubbing, gowning, gloving, and equipment sterilization.
- Maintain and care for surgical equipment per OR protocols.
- Option 1: Mon–Fri | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (5x8s)
- Option 2: Mon–Thu | 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM (4x10s)
- On-Call: One weeknight (7 PM–7 AM) per month + one weekend shift (Sat–Sun 7 AM–7 AM) per 13-week contract.
- BLS certification
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
3–5 years of pediatric surgical experience
