Phlebotomist I
Duartion: 5 months
Location: Rolla MO
Shift: 8am-5pm Mon - Fri
Job Summary:
The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) is the frontline representative of the company, interacting directly with patients who visit for routine health services or critical health decisions. The PSR I is responsible for drawing quality blood samples and preparing specimens for lab testing, adhering to established practices and procedures. This role requires creating an atmosphere of trust and confidence while skillfully, safely, and accurately performing blood draws. The PSR I demonstrates leadership behaviors, focusing on process excellence, confidentiality, and accuracy of patient information.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform daily activities accurately and on time under the direction of the area supervisor.

Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment.

Confidently perform both forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing according to established procedures.

Maintain all required records and documentation.

Demonstrate organizational commitment and promote a positive image to patients, clients, employees, and the public.

Provide excellent patient communication by explaining procedures clearly and reassuring patients.

Ensure strict confidentiality and accuracy in handling patient information.
Job Requirements:

Ability to deliver quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric specimen collection.

Flexibility and availability based on staffing needs (including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime).
Education & Certification:
-
High school diploma or equivalent REQUIRED.
Experience:
-
Minimum of 6 months phlebotomy experience REQUIRED.
