Title: Phlebotomist I (PSR I)

Duration: 3–4 months (Temp-to-Hire)
Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM | Rotational Saturday, 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM

The Phlebotomist I (PSR I) is the first point of contact for patients, responsible for collecting quality blood specimens and preparing them for lab testing. This role requires excellent phlebotomy skills, professionalism, and the ability to provide a safe, accurate, and compassionate patient experience in a fast-paced environment.

• Perform venipuncture and specimen collection, including pediatric and geriatric patients

• Prepare specimens for laboratory testing in accordance with established procedures

• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment

• Accurately complete records and documentation

• Build patient trust by explaining procedures and ensuring comfort during collection

• Follow supervisor direction and complete daily activities accurately and on time

• Uphold confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism with patients and staff

• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, overtime, or on-call as needed

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)

• Medical assistant or paramedic training (preferred)

• Minimum 6 months of phlebotomy experience (required)

• 1+ years of phlebotomy experience (preferred)

• Customer service experience in retail or service settings (preferred)

• Keyboard/data entry proficiency (required)

• Excellent phlebotomy skills across multiple patient populations

• Ability to work independently in high-volume environments

• Must reside within a 20–25 minute commute of the work location

• Strong commitment to punctuality and attendance
