Phlebotomist II
Patient Services Representative II (Phlebotomist)
Location: Naples, FL
Duration: 6 months
Shift: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (EST)
Rotational Saturdays: 6:00 AM – 10:30 AM
Job Description:
The Patient Services Representative II (PSR II) is a frontline position representing the face of our company to patients, whether they're visiting for routine health checks or critical health decisions. The PSR II is responsible for skillfully and safely drawing quality blood specimens, preparing them for lab testing, and ensuring a professional and comforting patient experience.
You may be assigned to a doctor’s office, patient service center, or other locations as needed.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform daily tasks accurately and punctually under supervision.

Ensure a safe and professional environment for both patients and coworkers.

Conduct clinical and forensic specimen collection per protocol.

Verify patient demographics and secure signatures post-collection.

Maintain all required documentation and records.

Promote a positive and professional image to all stakeholders.
Requirements:
Education:
-
High school diploma or equivalent (Required)
-
Medical assistant or paramedic training (Preferred)
-
Phlebotomy certification (Preferred; REQUIRED in CA, NV, WA)
Experience:
-
Minimum 3 years of phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.

Minimum 2 years in a Patient Service Center preferred.

Customer service experience in retail or service environment preferred.

Keyboard/data entry experience.
Skills:
-
High-level phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric.

Strong customer service focus and ability to communicate clearly.

Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time management skills.

Comfortable in high-volume settings.
-
Flexible for weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
