Phlebotomist I

Job Title: Patient Services Representative I (Phlebotomist)
Location: Ocala, FL
Duration: 3 months
Shift: Monday-Friday 5:30 AM - 2:30 PM W/ rotational Saturdays

Overview:
The PSR I is the frontline representative for patients, responsible for collecting quality blood samples, preparing specimens for lab testing, and ensuring a professional and compassionate experience. This role combines strong phlebotomy skills with excellent patient interaction and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect and process blood and other specimens following established protocols

• Explain procedures and provide a reassuring patient experience

• Maintain accurate records and documentation

• Ensure a clean, safe, and professional environment

• Work independently with minimal supervision

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (REQUIRED)

• Phlebotomy certification preferred (REQUIRED in CA, NV, WA)

• 6+ months of phlebotomy experience (1+ year preferred)

• Pediatric and geriatric phlebotomy experience a plus

• Strong data entry and customer service skills
