Inventory Manager support:
Job Description:
Manage the availability of material through the proper material master data setup, capacity planning and purchase order management with internal and external suppliers and mitigate in case of supply risks and issues. Manage EC s global inventory optimization and ensure that robust plans are in place to balance the right inventory to meet customer needs with the right investment in inventory.
Responsibilities:
Inventory analysis and policy definition to secure material availability aProductst minimum inventory investments
Monitors inventory and risks
Drives gap closure to meet inventory plans and targets
Drives improvement to inventory management practices and reporting methods
Driving Customer Demand Fulfilment by ensuring material availability in the supply chain
Tactical material planning (forecast and handshake feedback) with internal and external suppliers and DCs, in an optimized way using planning calculation methods
Operational material planning and Purchase Order management
Identifying supply risks and issues, driving mitigation actions and escalating if needed
Mastering data settings to enable touchless replenishment
Continuous harmonization and improvement of material supply processes ensuring Philips Global Processes execution
Monitoring and securing supplier delivery performance
Following up the material life cycle, securing availability in time and prevention of obsolescence
Minimum Required Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's / Master's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management or equivalent.
Work Experience
Minimum 2 years of experience with Bachelor's in areas such as Supply Chain, Transport, Logistics, Operations, Physical Distribution or equivalent OR prior experience required with Master's Degree.
Proficient in ERP
Understanding MRP
Experience with SAP P
APICS preferred
