Title: Shipping & Receiving Clerk
Location: Piscataway NJ
Duration: 6 months
Confirm Schedule: 9-5:30 M-F or 9:30-6PM
Pay Rate: $20 Per hour to $26 Per hour
Education: High School or equivalency work experience required
Top 3 Skills/Requirements: Previous shipping experience, very organized, ability to work well without supervision
Interview Process: 1 round - Phone, 2nd Round -Onsite In person
Coordinates and prepares customer fragrance samples for shipment, labelling accurately, and processing and organizing corresponding paperwork, following all requirements. Other lab support responsibilities including light maintenance and administrative tasks, as required.

Your key responsibilities
Prepares and coordinates shipping labels, packing lists, and other documents with the corresponding fragrance samples and confirms that the documents, labels, and containers correspond.
Packs fragrance samples and ensures that Product points, MSDS, C of A and spec sheet is included as required.
Follows DOT, air shipment regulations, and carrier and other regulatory compliance, especially in shipment of hazardous materials.
Completes documentation, data entry, and other administrative and record keeping requirements after product ships. Fills out work orders.
Distributes daily mail and all incoming packages to appropriate personnel.
Maintains clean and safe work area, and adheres to safety regulations, and procedures, understanding the hazards that are associated with the job duties.

You bring
High School or equivalency degree required
Experience preferred in shipping, DOT and other regulatory compliance
Computer skills
Detail oriented, accuracy in work, able to comprehend entire operation and work flow
Ability to handle materials/boxes/shipments up to 50 pounds
Ability to understand the importance of safety, and to follow safety regulations, guidelines, and procedures
