Job Title: Software Engineer III
Job Location: Maple Grove, MN 55311
Job Duration: 12+ Months Contract (Possibilities of Extension)
Pay Rate: $60.29/hr. on W2
Job Purpose:
- Develops software systems, applications, firmware, and/or provides software systems testing and validation in support of R&D and/or Manufacturing Process Engineering.
- Responsible for analyzing, designing, programming, debugging, and modifying local, network/internet-related computer programs for commercial or end-user applications (i.e., materials management, financial management, HRIS, or desktop application products).
- May interface with users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications.
- Responsible for developing, applying, and maintaining quality standards for software products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, debug, modify, and test software programs using current programming languages, methodologies, and technologies.
- Document software development and/or test development by writing documents, reports, memos, and change requests following approved procedures and standards.
- Track software development efforts by creating and maintaining records in the approved tracking management tool.
- Analyze, evaluate, and verify requirements, software, and systems using software engineering practices.
- Investigate, research, and select software designs, operating systems, and/or practices.
- Continuously improve processes and work methodologies by interfacing with peers/cross-functional groups and analyzing activities to enhance workflow and work processes.
Qualifications:
- 5–8 years with BS, 3–6 years with MS, 0–3 years with PhD.
- Proficient in C# .Net and WPF.
- Medical device experience preferred.
- Image processing experience preferred.
- Experience in an Agile environment.
- Experience with unit and integration testing.
