Location: New York, NY 10024
Duration: 5 Months of contract (temp to hire)
Shift/Time Zone: :Monday to Friday 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm and Every
Saturday from 8:00 am - 12:00pm
Pay Rate: $21/Hr. On W2
Job Description:
The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) is the first point of contact for patients, whether they are attending routine health visits or making important health decisions. The PSR I collects quality blood samples, prepares specimens for laboratory testing, and ensures all procedures are performed safely, accurately, and in accordance with established protocols. This role requires creating an environment of trust and confidence while demonstrating professionalism, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform daily tasks accurately and on time under the guidance of the area supervisor.

Maintain a safe, professional, and welcoming environment for patients.

Collect and process both forensic and clinical specimens following established procedures.

Maintain accurate records and documentation.

Demonstrate organizational commitment and promote a positive image to patients, clients, employees, and the public.
Requirements:

Ability to provide high-quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision.

Strong phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric populations.

Flexible availability based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime.
Education & Certification:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Medical training (Medical Assistant or Paramedic) preferred.

Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in California, Nevada, and Washington.
Experience:
-
Minimum of 6 months of relevant experience.
-
1+ years of phlebotomy experience preferred.

Customer service experience in retail or service environment preferred.

Keyboard/data entry experience required.
