- 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday – Friday
- Possible Saturday rotation
Pay Rate: $19 – $23/hr. on W2
Job Description:
- The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) represents the face of the company to patients coming in for routine health or life-defining health decisions.
- Draws quality blood samples from patients and prepares specimens for lab testing while following established practices and procedures.
- Creates an atmosphere of trust and confidence while explaining procedures to patients and drawing blood specimens skillfully, safely, and accurately.
- Demonstrates leadership behaviors while focusing on process excellence and maintaining confidentiality and accuracy of patient information.
- Performs daily activities accurately and on time under the direction of the area supervisor.
- Maintains a safe and professional environment.
- Performs both forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties with confidence.
- Maintains required records and documentation.
- Promotes a positive image to patients, clients, employees, and the public.
Job Requirements:
- Ability to provide quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision.
- Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric populations.
- Flexible and available based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime.
- High school diploma or equivalent REQUIRED
- Medical training (medical assistant or paramedic training) preferred
- Phlebotomy certification preferred (Required in California, Nevada, and Washington)
Work Experience:
- Minimum of 6 months experience REQUIRED; 1+ year phlebotomy experience preferred
- Customer service experience in a retail or service environment preferred
- Keyboard/data entry experience required
Additional Job Details:
- Prefer knowledge of Quanum
- Must be active State of Nevada Laboratory Assistant licensed
