Job Summary:
- Do you have a passion for data analysis and process optimization? At Client Health you can put your skills and interests to work by joining our Financial Change Order (FCO) group.
- An individual who joins our team will be responsible for building and maintaining business rules and processes to ensure client change requests are financially assessed before implementation.
- The team’s primary goal is to ensure proper financial controls and improve client level financial performance by placing proper controls around implementation of programs or changes to a client’s benefit or formulary design.
- Work under the guidance of Sr. Manager or Manager for evaluating potential financial impact of a plan design change using existing models or by working with internal partners.
- Support the development of new tools user acceptance testing.
- Access data via Excel and tools such as SQL/ SAS and use financial change order models to model projected rebate guarantee impact analysis.
- Coordinate the efforts across company teams that can include Sales, Analytic Consulting Services, Clinical Operations, Underwriting, and other departments to ensure proper controls are in place to review changes to a client’s benefit design, formulary, or implementation of a product.
- Provide consultative support to internal stakeholders on analysis including but not limited to sales, underwriting and underwriting analytics teams.
- This role will be supporting the client specific analyses and discussions and provide consultative support on additional ad-hoc reporting and analysis.
- This individual will be responsible on interacting with external stakeholders and client directly and have the ability to articulate the results of the analysis in a clear, concise manner and meeting the expected deadlines of requested analysis for this client.
- 2 + years professional experience in data analytics, finance, pricing or process improvement role or equivalent combination of professional experience and education
- 1+ years professional experience in data analytics, finance, pricing, or process improvement role including 1+ year working with PBM data or PBM financial analysis.
- Experience in Microsoft Excel-based analysis and SQL
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking and critical thinking skill sets are required.
- Ability to story tell the findings in clear, concise way when articulating the findings of the analysis to sales, underwriting and other stakeholders.
- Prior experience or knowledge of PBM industry or pharmaceuticals is preferred.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and manage tight deadlines and competing priorities.
- Prior experience working across many different groups within an organization.
- Prior experience designing, implementing, and optimizing new business processes.
- Strong presentation and communication skills with experience presenting to various business groups.
- Ability to interact with others in a collegial and professional manner and help foster teamwork and knowledge sharing to complete key tasks.
- Aptitude to communicate complex findings and conclusions in an easy-to-understand way.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Degree related to finance, mathematics, operations, statistics, actuarial science, data science, economics or other data related fields preferred
