Data Analyst I

Must-Have Skills:

• Bachelor’s in CS, Data Science, Biomedical Eng., or related field

• Experience with Python or MATLAB

• Internships or relevant project experience

• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving

In this exciting role, you will support data and development for complex electro-mechanical medical device systems within the Interventional Cardiology Coronary Therapies team. You will work with advanced technologies to deliver life-changing devices in alignment with clients mission.

• Review, annotate, and curate medical images for machine learning and classical algorithm development

• Organize and maintain databases of medical images and annotations

• Develop analytical tools to evaluate and process images using both commercial and experimental algorithms

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (data science, clinical, cloud engineering, etc.) locally and globally

• Ensure adherence to compliance protocols for quality, safety, and data handling (HIPAA, FDA, GDPR)

• Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Science, Biomedical Engineering, or related field

• Required Skills & Experience:

  • Experience with MATLAB or Python

  • Demonstrated internships or hands-on project experience in relevant domains

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

  • Self-motivated with strong collaboration and initiative

• Preferred Skills & Experience:

  • Experience with AWS and cloud technologies

  • Familiarity with machine learning frameworks

  • Knowledge of medical image processing

  • Experience with SQL and Pandas for metadata manipulation

  • Understanding of data governance regulations (HIPAA, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, GDPR)
