EEG | Sleep Tech

Job Title: EEG | Sleep Tech
Location: Grand Junction, CO 81501
Duration: 3+ Months (Possible Extension)

Shift: 12-Hour Days
Travel Pay: $2400/week (blended)
Local Pay: $60/hour. on W2
 
Job Summary:
  • Prepare patients and equipment for EEG and evoked potential examinations under supervision.
  • Perform EEG and Evoked Potential testing on patients of all ages, both in the EEG department and at bedside.
  • Select appropriate recording parameters based on patient diagnosis or complaint.
  • Analyze waveforms during testing to identify potential brain disorders.
  • Document findings clearly through checklists, narratives, or data entry.
  • Transcribe and process physician orders accurately per policy.
  • Conduct routine maintenance on EEG equipment.
  • Uphold the mission, vision, and values of Client Health and adhere to service behavior standards.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • May float to other departments within scope and qualifications.
  • On-call availability may be required during scheduled shifts.
 
Required Skills & Experience:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as an EEG Technician.
  • Consistent on-site attendance during scheduled shifts.
  • Flexibility to work nights and/or weekends as needed.
 
Certifications & Licensure:
  • Required: Board of Registered EEG Technologist (ABRET) or Certified EEG Technician (CET).
  • Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association.
