Location: Moline, IL
Duration: 2 years contract
Pay : $15/Hr
This is a Part Time Visitor Services position - candidates MUST be available to work on Saturdays. The hours of operation for the facility are Monday from 1-5, Tuesday-Saturday from 9-5, closed on Sunday. Looking for someone to work around 30 hours per week.
Job Duties
- Ensures that all guests to the Client Pavilion receive an exceptional Client experience.
- Performs opening and closing procedures for the facility.
- Performs front desk information operations, administrative duties.
- Assist in all general daily activities as needed.
- Receives ongoing training and development.
- Works special events, including set up, and tear down.
- Has availability to work during a 7-day-a-week operation, including holidays.
- Acts as an ambassador for all community attractions and businesses.
- Greet guests, tour groups, etc.
- Answer the main Pavilion phone line at the front desk
- Take tour reservation with guests via phone
- Greet visitors/groups and give a short overview of the self-guided Pavilion layout
Required Skills
- Candidates should have a friendly, outgoing personality, and be comfortable interacting with Pavilion guests
- Ability to multi-task
- Attention to detail
- Clear written and verbal communication
- High level of customer service and professionalism
- Some computer experience would be helpful
- Previous experience working in a museum is a plus
