Job Location: Providence, KY
Duration: 3 months
Shift/Time Zone: Mon, Wed & Thur 8:00Am - 5:00PM, Tues 8:00Am - 7:00PM, Fri 8:00AM - 3:00PM
Payrate: $24/hr on w2
Job Summary:
The PSR I serves as the frontline representative to patients, delivering high-quality phlebotomy services while ensuring a professional and compassionate environment. This role involves drawing blood specimens, preparing them for lab testing, and maintaining patient trust through skilled and safe procedures.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform phlebotomy procedures accurately and efficiently, including pediatric and geriatric collections.

Prepare specimens for laboratory analysis following established protocols.

Maintain accurate documentation and patient records.

Ensure a clean, safe, and professional environment at all times.

Demonstrate leadership behaviors and uphold patient confidentiality.

Provide excellent customer service and foster a positive patient experience.

Adhere to flexible scheduling requirements including weekends, holidays, and overtime if needed.
Requirements:
Education:
-
High school diploma or equivalent (Required)

Medical assistant or paramedic training (Preferred)
-
Phlebotomy certification (Preferred; Required in CA, NV, WA)
Experience:
-
Minimum of 6 months phlebotomy experience (Required)

1+ years of experience in phlebotomy (Preferred)

Customer service experience in retail or service setting (Preferred)

Keyboard/data entry proficiency (Required)

Confidence in both clinical and forensic specimen collection.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
