Job Summary:
- The Distribution Specialist I will work in a newly built, state-of-the-art CAR-T manufacturing facility and will have the opportunity to learn and support Materials Management operations within a GMP/FDA-regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform day-to-day warehouse tasks and ensure completion of assigned activities
- Receive incoming shipments of both GMP and non-GMP materials and equipment in accordance with established procedures
- Dispense GMP materials to support production operations
- Prepare and deliver raw materials to various departments, ensuring proper procedures and temperature requirements are followed
- Maintain accurate inventory records for GMP warehouse materials
- Support inventory cycle counts and perform accurate ERP transactions
- Identify and communicate inventory discrepancies to the warehouse operations team and escalate issues as appropriate
- Cross-train in additional areas of warehouse operations
- Prepare general shipments and equipment per established policies and procedures (excluding patient material)
- Ensure all required training is current and up to date
- Adhere to all safety procedures and maintain a clean, inspection-ready warehouse environment
- Complete in-house forklift certification
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- Duties may be delegated to designated deputies with appropriate qualifications as required
- High School Diploma.
- 1–2 years of experience in a warehouse environment.
- Familiarity with a GMP-regulated environment.
- Strong attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective communication skills.
