ENTRY Phlebotomist I
Job Title: Phlebotomist (Entry-Level)
Location: Delray Beach, FL
Duration: 6+ Months (with potential for extension)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:30 PM (Rotational Weekends Required)
Job Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and customer-focused Entry-Level Phlebotomist / Patient Services Representative (PSR I) to join our team in Delray Beach, FL. This front-facing role is ideal for individuals passionate about healthcare and eager to grow their skills in phlebotomy. You will be the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a welcoming experience while supporting clinical operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and assist with check-in using kiosks or tablets
- Maintain a clean, safe, and professional waiting area
- Provide empathetic support and answer patient questions
- Learn and perform phlebotomy procedures during downtime or coverage needs
- Collect and process clinical and forensic specimens accurately
- Ensure confidentiality and accuracy of patient information
- Support team during breaks and peak hours
- Maintain documentation and follow safety protocols
Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)

Experience:
- 1–2 years of customer-facing experience (Retail, Home Health, etc.)
- Keyboard/data entry proficiency
- No prior phlebotomy experience required—training provided

Skills:
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Willingness to learn and perform phlebotomy
- Reliable transportation (rideshare/bus not accepted)
- Punctuality and full-shift availability are essential
Additional Details:
- Candidates must live within a 20–25 minute commute of the worksite
- Excessive tardiness or absenteeism may result in termination
- This is a front-of-house role with phlebotomy training included
