Duration: 12 Months+ contract on W2 with Possibility of extension based on your performance

Pay Range: $30 - $35.39/Hour. on W2
 
Job Purpose:
This position works independently to assist R&D engineers, scientists, and/or teams in the development and analysis of products, materials, processes, or equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Organize, coordinate, and execute building and testing of prototypes/products per engineering instructions. Testing is primarily mechanical testing utilizing custom built fixturing and Instron equipment.
• Explore and propose creative solutions based on solid rationales and contribute to design and process concepts.
• Develop concepts and accordingly construct prototypes/products from concepts.
• Assist project teams in assessing and establishing specifications and quality standards.
• Use internal resources and qualified external vendors to assist engineering teams to identify and obtain supplies and services.
• Act as a resource to other employees.
• Communicate project status to project teams.
   

Quality Systems Duties and Responsibilities:

• Build Quality into all aspects of their work by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements.

 
Qualifications:

• AA Degree or equivalent work experience in related discipline and 3 years of related experience.
• May be some lifting and bending.
• Knowledge of Instron Wave Matrix software a plus.
• Med Device experience preferred
• Mechanical testing
