We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Technical Product Owner with exceptional communication skills to lead requirements discovery and modernization efforts for a legacy healthcare platform. Translate complex Medicare/Medicaid and healthcare operations processes into well-structured user stories, business use cases, acceptance criteria, workflows, and system requirements.
Understand architectural vocabulary and technical concepts (APIs, data flows, integrations, databases, legacy systems) to accurately capture system behavior and modernization needs.
Own and prioritize the product backlog; refine stories for development readiness and ensure alignment with business goals.
Drive sprint planning, backlog grooming, and cross-team coordination to remove roadblocks and ensure timely delivery.
Evaluate current-state legacy systems, document dependencies, and define future-state capabilities in collaboration with architects and engineering leads.
Communicate clearly with executive-level stakeholders and present requirements, updates, risks, and recommendations.
Work proactively with compliance, operations, clinical, and analytics teams to ensure regulatory alignment, especially CMS, Medicare, and Medicaid program rules.

Strong ability to understand technical discussions without needing to code; ability to translate architectural concepts for business teams.
Hands-on experience documenting legacy system behavior and defining modernization requirements.
