Shift/Time Zone: Mon - Fri 8:00Am-12:00Pm alternating Saturday 8:00Am - 12:00Pm
Rotational Weekends
Duration: 3 Months
Job Summary:
The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) serves as the welcoming face of the organization for patients seeking routine health services or essential diagnostic information. This role requires exceptional professionalism, strong technical skills, and the ability to create an atmosphere of trust and confidence. The PSR I is responsible for collecting high-quality blood samples and preparing specimens for laboratory analysis while adhering to all established procedures, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities

Perform daily phlebotomy and specimen-processing activities accurately, efficiently, and on schedule under the guidance of the area supervisor.

Maintain a safe, organized, and professional work environment at all times.

Execute both forensic and clinical specimen collection with confidence while strictly following established protocols.

Provide clear explanations to patients and ensure a positive, compassionate experience.

Maintain all required records, documentation, and patient information with accuracy and confidentiality.

Demonstrate strong organizational commitment and promote a positive, professional image to patients, clients, coworkers, and the public.

Job Requirements

Ability to deliver quality, error-free work in a fast-paced setting.

Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision.

Excellent phlebotomy skills, including experience with pediatric and geriatric patients.

Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, on-call shifts, and overtime as needed.

Strong customer-service orientation and effective interpersonal communication skills.

Proficiency in keyboard and data entry tasks.
Education
-
High school diploma or equivalent required.
-
Medical training (e.g., Medical Assistant or Paramedic) preferred.

Phlebotomy certification preferred
-
Required in: California, Nevada, and Washington.

Work Experience
-
Minimum 6 months of experience required.
-
1+ year of phlebotomy experience preferred.
-
Customer service experience in retail, healthcare, or service environments preferred.

Data entry experience required.
