Job Title: Maintenance Technician II - 3rd Shift
Job Location: Chantilly, VA- 20151
Duration: 3+ months of Contract with possible extension
Shift: Mon-Fri (2:00 pm – 10:30 pm) EST

Note: Should be flexible for on-call for 24/7 emergency coverage in the building

Job Summary:
Responsible for keeping the facility in safe, working condition by performing general maintenance, repairs, and equipment upkeep.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform basic electrical repairs and assist with installing equipment
• Handle minor plumbing tasks such as fixing leaks, installing fixtures, and clearing drains
• Carry out carpentry work including repairs to doors, floors, walls, and furniture
• Use hand and power tools safely and maintain them in good condition
• Assist with basic HVAC (air conditioning) maintenance and repairs
• Follow up on maintenance and quality issues to ensure timely resolution
• Support other maintenance tasks as assigned

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in general building maintenance
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC systems
• Ability to safely use maintenance tools and equipment
• Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
• Able to follow written and verbal instructions

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Must be able to lift:
  • Frequently: up to 10 lbs
  • Occasionally: up to 25 lbs
  • Rarely: up to 50 lbs (assistance required for heavier items)
