Shift Time: 6 AM -3 PM M-F Rotational Saturdays at another site
Job Summary:
We re seeking a Phlebotomist I / Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) to join our team and be the welcoming face for patients undergoing routine lab testing or important diagnostic services.
As a key part of the healthcare experience, you will collect quality blood specimens and prepare them for laboratory testing while ensuring patients feel safe, informed, and respected throughout the process.
Key Responsibilities:
Collect blood specimens via venipuncture and capillary techniques from a diverse patient population (including pediatric and geriatric).
Prepare and process specimens accurately for lab analysis, following all protocols.
Provide outstanding customer service by creating a positive and professional environment for patients.
Clearly explain collection procedures and build patient trust.
Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with company standards.
Uphold confidentiality and patient privacy at all times.
Support a clean, safe, and organized work area.
Work both independently and collaboratively under minimal supervision.
Demonstrate leadership behaviors and a commitment to quality and process excellence.
Qualifications:
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent (Required)
Medical training (Medical Assistant or Paramedic) (Preferred)
Phlebotomy certification (Preferred)
Experience:
Minimum 6 months of phlebotomy experience (Required)
1+ year phlebotomy experience (Preferred)
Key Skills & Requirements:
Proficient in blood collection techniques, including for pediatric and geriatric patients
Ability to deliver high-quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Flexible and dependable availability for weekends, holidays, on-call shifts, and overtime as needed
Strong attention to detail and commitment to confidentiality
