Phlebotomist I

Overview:
The PSR I is the frontline representative for patients, responsible for collecting blood samples and preparing them for lab testing. This role requires excellent phlebotomy skills, attention to detail, and a strong focus on patient care, confidentiality, and process accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform blood draws and specimen processing with accuracy and professionalism

• Ensure a safe, clean, and patient-friendly environment

• Maintain documentation and follow standard procedures

• Support confidentiality and demonstrate leadership behaviors

• Deliver excellent customer service and communicate procedures clearly

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)

• Medical assistant or paramedic training (preferred)

• Phlebotomy certification (required in CA, NV, WA)

• At least 6 months of experience (1+ year preferred)

• Strong phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric

• Data entry and basic computer proficiency

• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime
