Duration: 11/24/2025 – 02/23/2026 (13 Weeks)
Shift: Day Shift 12 Hour
Schedule: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Required Skills & Experience
-
2 years of experience as an allied health professional.

Must have computer skills and dexterity required for data entry and retrieval of information.

Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present information clearly and professionally.
-
Must be proficient with Windows-style applications, various role-specific software packages, and keyboard use.
-
Strong interpersonal skills.
-
Detail-oriented; experienced performing complex tasks which may be hazardous to the patient's welfare and skilled at detecting equipment malfunctions.
-
Interpersonal skills necessary to deal effectively and courteously with a diverse group of internal/external visitors in a highly stressful atmosphere.
-
An interest and curiosity to learn new procedures.
-
Demonstrates knowledge of and complies with all Federal, State, and local regulatory radiation requirements.

Ability to work a flexible schedule (24/7, weekend, holiday, on-call availability).
Education
-
Associate degree in Radiologic Sciences – Required.
-
Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Sciences – Preferred.
Licensure & Certifications
-
Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA).
-
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA).
-
Registered Radiologic Technologist in the state of practice.
-
Registration from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
Job Summary
-
Operates diagnostic fluoroscopy and various types of cardiac equipment.
-
Monitors patient vitals, performs routine calculations, circulates, and assists the physician during procedures upon request.
-
Prepares procedure rooms, equipment, and patients for procedures.
-
Acts as liaison to the hospital Radiation Safety Officer.
-
Assists with patient setup and prep pre-procedure and teardown/cleanup post-procedure using safe patient transfer and positioning techniques.

Documents procedures and interventions in procedure logs for accurate billing and charge capture.
-
Operates fluoroscopy equipment to obtain diagnostic images of coronary artery disease and peripheral vascular disease.

Performs hemodynamic monitoring and reports values to the performing physician.

Monitors delivery of radiation dose to ensure safe exposure levels.
-
Transmits, archives, and retrieves digital images in PACS.
-
Performs quality control tasks to ensure optimum diagnostic imaging and conducts regular maintenance of fluoroscopy equipment.

Adapts behavior to patient population needs, including privacy, communication style, and explanation of procedures.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

Remains knowledgeable of federal, state, and local laws, accreditation standards, and regulatory requirements.

Complies with the Compliance & Privacy Program and Standards of Conduct, including immediate reporting of safety, privacy, and compliance concerns.
