Description
The Analytical Development team that supports the development of oligonucleoProduct therapeutics by developing innovative analytical technologies and establishing control strategies is seeking a highly creative and self-motivated candidate to join as a contractor in 2025. This role will develop and optimize analytical methods on LCMS systems in the lab in Cambridge, MA campus. This role will also support other relevant oligonucleoProduct studies using various instruments. This position requires adequate knowledge in analytical techniques such as UV, LC and LCMS.
Position Responsibility
With guidance from the manager, design, execute and document experiments.
Develop and optimize analytical methods on the LCMS systems, including high-resolution MS and 2D LC.
Analyze and interpret data/results; write technical reports; establish protocols, etc.
Test and analyze oligonucleoProduct samples using LCMS-based methods.
Attend relevant internal meetings to learn and report the development of therapeutic oligonucleoProduct.
Qualifications
Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
Basic lab skills, such as pipetting, solution preparation, centrifugation, etc.
Understanding of oligonucleoProduct and analytical chemistry is preferred.
Understanding and hands-on experience with HPLC, UHPLC, LCMS, and high-resolution MS are required.
Proficiency in good documentation practices, data analysis, reporting and review.
Willingness to learn (new methods, new modalities, etc.) and ability to demonstrate scientific curiosity and innovation.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Education
MS or PhD in chemistry, biochemistry, chemical engineering, pharmaceutical science, and other relevant majors.
