Job Role: Pharmacy Tech I
Location: San Antonio, TX 78229
Job Type: 6 months+ (Possibility of extension)

Schedule: Mon-Fri (8 AM to 6 PM)
 
Position Summary:
The Pharmacy Technician provides professional phone assistance to members, providers, and other callers, ensuring excellent customer service.
In addition, this role supports the preparation of medications—including counting, labeling, and organizing—for pharmacist final verification, along with other pharmacy technician functions as assigned.
 
Job Responsibilities:

• Answer and manage incoming calls from members, providers, and others in a professional and courteous manner.
• Assist in preparing medications (counting, labeling, and packaging) for pharmacist review and verification.

 
Licensure:

• Active Pharmacy Technician license (required).

 
Experience:

• At least 1 year of experience as a pharmacy technician or closely related role.
• At least 1 year of customer service experience in a call center or inbound call environment.
