Phlebotomist II
Duration: 2 months
Location: Des Peres MO
Shift: 7:30am-4pm M-F
Job Summary
The PSR II is the face of the company to patients, supporting their health routines and critical health decisions. This role involves drawing quality blood samples, preparing specimens for lab testing, and ensuring safe, skillful, and accurate specimen collection while fostering patient trust and confidence. The PSR II demonstrates leadership, process excellence, confidentiality, and accuracy in handling patient information. Assignments may be at doctor’s offices, patient service centers, or other locations as needed.
Key Responsibilities

Perform daily activities accurately and on time under area supervisor’s direction.

Maintain a safe and professional environment.

Perform forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing confidently, adhering to established procedures.

Verify patient demographic info, obtain patient initials, and secure signatures post-venipuncture to confirm proper labeling.

Maintain required records and documentation.

Promote a positive organizational image to patients, clients, employees, and the public.
Job Requirements

Deliver high-quality, error-free work in a fast-paced setting.

Work independently with minimal supervision.

Possess excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric collections.

Flexible availability including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime.

Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and clean driving record if applicable.

Willing to travel and cover multiple locations with short notice.

Education & Certification

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in California, Nevada, and Washington.

Training locations vary based on trainer availability.
Experience

Minimum 3 years phlebotomy experience
