Application Technical Specialist I
Job Overview
This role supports technology rollout projects in a call center environment. The team provides phone-based support for multiple technology implementations occurring in retail store locations. This is not a traditional consumer/customer call center role.
The position focuses on assisting field technicians, vendors, and contractors who are implementing hardware and technology upgrades in stores.
Key Responsibilities

Handle inbound calls from technicians, vendors, and contractors during technology implementations

Make outbound calls as needed to support project execution

Provide first-level troubleshooting support for hardware and implementation issues

Ensure project implementation protocols and validation steps are followed

Update tracking systems and project applications during and after calls

Provide status updates via email, Excel, and internal systems when not actively handling calls

Support multiple technology rollout projects simultaneously

Adjust to evening/night implementations across various time zones as required
Work Schedule & Training

Standard 8-hour shift (subject to change based on project needs)

Shift times may fluctuate to support night deployments and multiple time zones

Advance notice will be provided for schedule changes

Paid training: 5 days per week, onsite

Training hours fall between 8:00 AM 8:00 PM

Start date may be earlier than originally specified (agency will confirm cleared start date)
Qualifications
Required:
-
Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience
-
High School Diploma or GED
-
Clear, accurate, and professional verbal and written communication skills
-
Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
Preferred:
-
Experience supporting IT hardware installations or technology implementations
-
Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel

Experience assisting field technicians or vendors in technical environments
