Certified Sterile Processor
Central Sterile Processing Technician
Shift: 11:00 PM 7:30 AM
Location: Grand Blanc
Duration: 13 weeks
Hours: 40 hours per week (8 hours/day, 5 days/week)
Job Summary
The Central Sterile Processing Technician is responsible for providing sterile products and instruments to all members of the healthcare team.
Required:
-
High School Diploma or equivalent
-
Completion of one of the following:
-
Appropriate Aide Training Program
-
Central Technician Program
-
Minimum of 6 months previous experience in Central Supply

Certifications & Licensure
Required:
-
NICHSPDP Certification (required for CSP Technician position)
Experience Requirements
-
Minimum of 2 years of experience
Required:
-
Ability to read and write
-
Basic math skills (addition and subtraction)
-
Ability to read temperature gauges
-
Experience with sterilization equipment
-
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Reliable, committed, and self-motivated
Schedule Details
-
Monday Friday, 11:00 PM 7:30 AM

Every other weekend required

Weekend shifts (if scheduled) will be Friday or Saturday night

One weekday off will be provided when a weekend shift is worked

Midnight shift with minimal supervision; must be able to operate independently
