Job Duration: 6 months (possibility for extension)
Shift: Part time: 3 to 4 days a week, 8 hour shifts.
Pay Rante: $83.00/hr on W2
Position Summary
The Pharmacist is responsible for dispensing prescriptions and coordinating clinical services for specialty medications at the branch location. This role involves collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure the safe and effective provision of patient care. Responsibilities include translating prescriptions, preparing compounds, dispensing pharmaceuticals, and resolving orders through the EA (External Adjudication) queue. The position also requires frequent communication with patients and physicians via phone and mail to support ongoing therapy and care coordination.

Experience
- Minimum of 1 year of pharmacy experience in a retail or hospital setting preferred.
- Prior experience with specialty medications or external adjudication processes is a plus.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills required.
- Proficiency with basic computer systems and pharmacy software.
- Active, unrestricted state pharmacist license required.
Education
- Required: High School Diploma or GED.
- Preferred: Bachelor s degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D).
- Must hold an active pharmacist license in good standing.
