Location: Lake Buena Vista, FL
Duration: 3 Months+ (Potential Extensions)
Shift: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Schedule: Monday to Friday (40hrs/week)
Job Summary:
The Injury Prevention Specialist is responsible for implementing strategies to reduce musculoskeletal injuries in the workplace. This includes conducting functional assessments, guiding conditioning programs, coaching proper body mechanics, and consulting on general health and wellness practices.

Job Summary:
The Injury Prevention Specialist is responsible for implementing strategies to reduce musculoskeletal injuries in the workplace. This includes conducting functional assessments, guiding conditioning programs, coaching proper body mechanics, and consulting on general health and wellness practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver injury prevention strategies for individuals and groups
- Perform functional movement assessments and ergonomic evaluations
- Provide coaching on body mechanics and physical conditioning
- Consult on employee health and wellness initiatives
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or Exercise Physiology
- At least one year of experience (industrial or occupational setting experience preferred)
- Current CPR certification is required
- Strong knowledge of musculoskeletal injury assessment and prevention
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Physical Demands:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs using proper biomechanics
- Ability to walk, bend, reach, and stand for prolonged periods
- Sufficient vision and hearing to evaluate, monitor, and interact with patients
- Dexterity and fine motor skills for documentation and equipment handling
- Ability to push or maneuver wheeled equipment
