Contract Duration: 12-Month W2 Contract (High potential for extension based on performance and business needs)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a personable, organized, and customer-oriented Connect Ambassador to join our onsite team in Kansas City, MO. This role is essential to creating a positive first impression for all visitors at Client Connect and supporting community engagement efforts. The Ambassador will assist with customer flow, answer basic inquiries, support events, and help connect the community with our services. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about customer service and community involvement.
Key Responsibilities & Time Allocation:
1. Customer Engagement & Facility Support 65%
- Greet and assess customer needs 20%
- Respond to basic customer inquiries 20%
- Manage in-facility traffic flow. 15%
- Assist with customer payments and service escalations 15%
- Other customer service-related duties as needed 15%
2. Community Outreach & Event Support 35%

Support event setup and teardown (internal & external) 20%

Assist during extended outage situations 10%

Help plan and deliver community workshops/seminars 25%

Open/close facility, ensuring proper shutdown and security 20%

Collect data and feedback on community engagement initiatives 25%.

Educate customers on energy efficiency programs and assist with enrollments included in duties above
Required Qualifications:
-
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
-
Minimum 1 year of customer service experience, preferably in a face-to-face environment

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

Experience working in fast-paced, customer-facing settings
