Job Title: Filling Technician I
Location: Rockford, IL 61101
Duration: 12 Months+ (Contract With possibility of Extension)
Pay Rate: $19.50/hr. on W2
Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Schedule: Full-time

Schedule: Full-time
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a variety of semi-automated and manual filling equipment.
- Safely operate industrial equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and similar machinery.
- Complete required manufacturing documentation following ISO9001 standards.
- Assist with staging raw materials, cleaning laboratory hardware, off-loading automated filling lines, and other departmental support tasks as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitasking effectively.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of the metric system.
- Willingness and ability to wear required personal protective equipment, including full-face respirators if needed.
- At least 6 months of manufacturing experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to stand or walk for the duration of the shift.
- Regularly lift and move up to 10 lbs, frequently up to 25 lbs, and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
Additional Requirements:
- Must complete initial hazardous waste training within the first 30 days, with annual refreshers thereafter.
- Comfortable handling organics, flammable solvents, acids/bases, biohazards (including raw animal serum), large-scale bacterial cultures, and other hazardous chemicals as part of daily tasks.
Notes for Candidates:
- This is a physically demanding role with exposure to hazardous materials; safety is a priority.
- Consistent attendance and punctuality are critical.
- Proper use of PPE and adherence to all safety protocols are mandatory.
