New Business Team Lead
Job Summary:
We are here seeking a dedicated and organized team to oversee the day-to-day scheduling and Paid Time Off (PTO) management for multiple teams. This role will involve maintaining productivity reports, providing feedback to supervisors, and fostering strong relationships within the team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem solving.
Time Management:
Maintain and track PTO schedule, reported daily outages, overtime, and time entry approvals for all assigned staff members, ensuring proper coverage and compliance with company policy.
Communicate with team members regarding their PTO request and approval.
Coordinate day-to-day scheduling for staff ensuring optimal productivity and resource allocation.
Prepare and present reports to supervisors highlighting key insights and areas of improvement.
Manage and adjust schedules as needed based on staff availability, workload, and production deadlines.
Team leadership:
Act as the point of contact for team members providing guidance and support for their day-to-day tasks.
Foster a positive team environment by encouraging collaboration and open communication.
Regularly gather feedback from team members and relay important information to Supervisors
Maintain clear and timely communication regarding scheduling changes and team updates.
Create and distribute daily status reports and weekly business reports.
Support supervisor in special projects and the initiatives
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor s degree in business administration or a related field preferred.
Preferred experience as an administrator role preferably in a supervisory or team capacity.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Excellent verbal and reading communication skills.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites (Word Excel, PowerPoint and experience with scheduling software, (preferred but not required).
