Job Location: Wauwatosa, WI
Job Duration: 3+ Months
Shift: Hours vary from 04:30 AM – 7:00 PM.
Floating role covering multiple Wisconsin locations (including Green Bay).
Position Summary:
The Patient Services Representative III – Floater (PSR III) serves as the face of the company, providing high-quality phlebotomy services and patient care across multiple sites. The PSR III is responsible for collecting and processing blood specimens with accuracy, professionalism, and compassion while maintaining patient confidentiality and safety. This position requires strong technical skills, leadership behaviors, and flexibility to travel and adapt to changing business needs.

Position Summary:
The Patient Services Representative III – Floater (PSR III) serves as the face of the company, providing high-quality phlebotomy services and patient care across multiple sites. The PSR III is responsible for collecting and processing blood specimens with accuracy, professionalism, and compassion while maintaining patient confidentiality and safety. This position requires strong technical skills, leadership behaviors, and flexibility to travel and adapt to changing business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform venipuncture and capillary collections on patients of all ages, including pediatric and geriatric populations.
- Verify and document patient information accurately, ensuring specimen labeling in the patient’s presence.
- Process specimens for laboratory testing following established protocols and safety standards.
- Provide exceptional patient care, creating a professional, reassuring, and confidential environment.
- Float between multiple locations as assigned, often with minimal notice.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area that meets compliance and quality standards.
- Demonstrate leadership behaviors aligned with company values, focusing on process excellence and customer satisfaction.
- Communicate effectively and transparently with patients, peers, and supervisors.
- Support quality improvement initiatives and uphold all company policies, including health, safety, and dress code.
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Medical Assistant or Paramedic training preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of phlebotomy experience including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
- At least 2 years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.
- Customer service or retail experience preferred.
- Proficient in data entry and basic computer systems.
Skills & Attributes:
- Exceptional phlebotomy and patient service skills.
- Strong attention to detail; able to produce accurate, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.
- Independent and self-motivated with minimal supervision.
- Flexible and dependable with reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and clean driving record.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to frequent schedule or site changes.
