Phlebotomist II
Location: Oconomowoc WI
Duration: 3months
Shift: 5:30am to 2:00pm.
Position Summary:
The Patient Services Representative II (PSR II) is the face of the organization, responsible for performing high-quality blood draws and specimen processing. The PSR II builds trust with patients by explaining procedures, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring accuracy and safety throughout the collection process. This role requires strong phlebotomy skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform daily tasks under supervision, with accuracy and timeliness.

Create a professional, safe, and welcoming environment for patients.

Execute forensic and clinical specimen collections with precision.

Verify patient demographic info and confirm labeled specimens in the presence of the patient.

Maintain accurate records and documentation.

Represent the organization positively to patients, clients, coworkers, and the public.

Adhere to established procedures, safety protocols, and confidentiality standards.

Display leadership behaviors and promote process excellence.

Travel and work flexible hours including weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts when needed.

Float between multiple locations as required with minimal notice.
Required Qualifications:
Education:

High school diploma or equivalent (Required)
Experience:
-
Minimum 3 years of phlebotomy experience
Skills and Competencies:

Excellent phlebotomy skills with all age groups

Ability to work independently with little supervision

Proven ability to produce quality, error-free work in a high-volume setting

Strong organizational and multitasking skills

Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and clean driving record (if applicable)
