Phlebotomist II - Float
Location: Naples, FL
Shift: Monday- Friday 6am-4pm
Duration: 4 Months
The Patient Services Representative II (PSR II) serves as the primary point of contact for patients and represents the organization with professionalism and integrity. This role is responsible for performing high-quality blood specimen collection, specimen processing, and patient verification while maintaining strict compliance with established policies, procedures, confidentiality standards, and safety regulations.
The PSR II demonstrates leadership behaviors, process excellence, strong customer service skills, and accuracy in handling patient information. Assignments may include work at a Patient Service Center (PSC), physician office, or multiple locations based on business needs.
Key Responsibilities

Perform venipuncture, capillary, pediatric, geriatric, forensic, and clinical specimen collections accurately and safely.

Prepare, label, process, and document specimens according to established protocols.

Verify patient demographic information and obtain required signatures post-collection to ensure accurate specimen labeling.

Maintain accurate records and required documentation.

Ensure compliance with safety guidelines, infection control procedures, and company policies.

Provide exceptional customer service and create a positive patient experience.

Maintain confidentiality of patient information (HIPAA compliance).

Work independently with minimal supervision while meeting daily productivity and quality standards.

Support multiple locations as a float employee when required.

Demonstrate flexibility with scheduling, including weekends, holidays, overtime, and on-call coverage.

Strong phlebotomy skills (venipuncture, capillary, pediatric, geriatric collections).
