Phlebotomist I

Location: Chipley, FL
Duration: 5 months
Shift: 5:30 AM – 2:30 PM (Mon–Fri)
Rotational Saturday: 6:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Role Overview
The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) is the face of the company, providing excellent patient care while performing safe, accurate blood draws and specimen processing. This role focuses on professionalism, patient trust, confidentiality, and process excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform clinical and forensic blood draws (pediatric, adult, geriatric)

• Prepare and process specimens according to established procedures

• Create a calm, professional, and patient-focused environment

• Maintain accurate records and documentation

• Follow safety, quality, and confidentiality standards

• Work independently under minimal supervision

• Represent the company positively at all times

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)

• Minimum 6 months phlebotomy experience (1+ year preferred)

• Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in CA, NV, WA)

• Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred

• Strong customer service and data entry skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with accuracy

• Flexible availability (weekends, holidays, on-call, overtime as needed)

Additional Notes

• Resume must include home city and commute time (within 20–25 minutes of site)

• Pay based on direct phlebotomy experience only (no overlapping roles)

• Must have reliable personal transportation

• Must be punctual and able to work full scheduled shifts

• Excessive tardiness or absenteeism will result in termination

• Students must confirm school schedules do not conflict with shifts
