Job Description:
- Prepared procedure rooms and organized instruments, equipment, treatment trays, and supplies for designated departments.
- Cleaned and decontaminated instruments, containers, and patient equipment using detergents and disinfectants per regulatory standards and facility policies.
- Operated semi-automatic and automatic sterilizers and washers to ensure proper sterilization and processing of medical equipment.
- Managed inventory by ordering, replenishing, and distributing instruments, reusable equipment, and general surgical supplies; documented and maintained required records.
- Ensured compliance with safety, environmental, manufacturer, and infection-control guidelines; assisted with in-service education and served as a resource to train and mentor Level 1 Sterile Processing staff.
Required Qualifications:
- 2 years' experience as a Central Sterile Processing Technician
- CRCST or CSPDT and BLS Certification
