Location: Hackensack, NJ, 07601
Duration: 05/26/2025 – 07/26/2025
Shift: Varies (Weekday and Weekend Options)
Schedule: 5x8, 4x10, 3x12
Additional Scheduling Notes:
• 8-hour shifts: Weekday (12:30pm–9:00pm), Weekend (3:00pm–11:30pm)
• 10-hour shifts: Weekday (11:00am–9:30pm), Weekend (11:00am–9:30pm)
• 12-hour shifts: Weekday (9:00am–9:30pm), Weekend (9:00am–9:30pm)
Pay Range: $55-$57/hr.
Job Summary:
• Produces diagnostic radiographic exams by positioning patients, selecting technical factors, and operating required equipment.
• Uses cone and collimating devices to limit radiation exposure to unaffected areas.
• Conducts portable x-ray procedures in patient rooms, OR, and ER.
• Marks and processes films accurately and completes related documentation.
• Prepares and assists with contrast media administration; maintains orderly x-ray room.
• Performs scheduling, patient instruction, recordkeeping, reception, and related administrative duties.
• Aids patients in mobility and positioning for imaging.
• Must lift at least 5 lbs., push/pull 10 lbs., and stand for 6 hours per day.
• Adapts care based on patient-specific needs (e.g., age, language, impairment).
• Complies with organizational competencies and standards.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• Completion of clinical and A.R.R.T. requirements.
Licensure & Certifications:
• Must possess New Jersey State License.
• Must meet National Registry eligibility and pass the examination.
