Pay Range: $29 to $34.84/Hour on W2
Note:
Technician-level candidates only.
Minimum of 2 years of relevant hands-on laboratory or testing experience required.
Familiarity with standard testing equipment and general testing processes is required.
Ability to independently execute tests, follow established protocols, and understand standard testing workflows with minimal supervision.
Experience working with laboratory/testing equipment and performing hands-on testing activities is essential.
Ability to accurately document test procedures and results with strong attention to detail.
Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work closely with engineers and cross-functional teams to support test setup, execution, and validation activities.
Positive attitude and ability to work effectively within an R&D team environment.
Candidate will work onsite in the AH lab alongside a team of six technicians.
Position Summary
The Electronics Technician supports Research & Development efforts by executing electrical and electronic tests, setting up lab equipment, and troubleshooting electronic components and systems. This role works closely with engineers and cross-functional teams to support product development, design verification, and regulatory compliance. The technician will begin with smaller sub-assembly testing and progress to full-system testing as experience and proficiency grow.
Key Responsibilities
Execute electrical and electronic tests in R&D laboratory environments according to written test protocols and procedures.
Set up, configure, and maintain electrical test equipment and test stations.
Perform design verification testing to validate product performance aProductst specifications and regulatory requirements.
Conduct testing on assemblies such as PCBs and circuit boards, with progression to full system-level testing over time.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with electronic components, prototypes, and existing products.
Collect, document, and report test data accurately and timely.
Provide clear, timely, and constructive feedback to engineers based on test results, observations, and troubleshooting findings.
Collaborate closely with engineers and cross-functional teams to support development activities and ensure products meet performance and compliance requirements.
Support continuous improvement of test methods, setups, and lab operations as needed.
Required Skills and Experience
Associates degree in Electronic Technology, Electrical Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience working as an Electrical or Electronics Technician.
Hands-on experience with electronic test equipment, including function generators and power analyzers.
Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to diagnose electronic system issues.
Ability to follow detailed test protocols and document results accurately.
Effective communication skills for working with engineering and cross-functional teams.
Strong attention to detail
Preferred qualification:
Experience working with LabVIEW or similar data acquisition and test automation tools.
